Community contributions

Because it believes that solidarity, first foundation of its existence, is a value to be lived and shared, Promutuel Appalaches - St-François has always been committed to community involvement. Major partner in the "Sur le Chemin des Artisans" event and in Tourisme Amiante, the mutual insurance association promotes the vitality of the region through arts and culture. As such, it got involved in the theater company Les Cabotins from Thetford Mines, which presented the show Romeo and Juliet to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Believing that the next generation, source of hope and promise, is a regional asset, the mutual insurance association has, once again, created a tremendous success with the Festival Promutuel de la relève de Thetford Mines' 14th edition. It also got involved with the "Partenaires 12-18" corporation from the Maple region and with the Thetford Mines Cegep football team the "Filons".
